What’s Included in Your Coliving Stay:

• Accommodation in a single, double or shared room in Coliving apartment
• High-speed STARLINK internet connection
• Access to a co-working space in the REC.ON Art& Design Gallery.
• Access to a permaculture garden and outdoor co-working space, surrounded by vegetables, herbs, and happy chickens.
• Direct access to mountain hiking trails starting right outside the house.
• A unique, eco-friendly treetop platform—a peaceful space for creativity, relaxation, meditation, and connection with nature.
• Regular community events include shared dinners, cultural presentations, live concerts, poetry readings by authors, culinary, perma-garden workshops, winter bonfires.
• Seasonal olive and almond picking on the residence grounds, at the foot of the mountains.
• Warm hospitality & personal attention from hosts Paulina and Bart.
• Homemade breakfasts served 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) with delicious coffee on the patio, a perfect start to the day, including inspiring conversations with other residents and artists.
• Every Saturday excursions to an authentic local market in Vélez-Rubio, a small Andalusian town.
•  Transfer from Vélez-Rubio bus station to the accommodation on the day of arrival and departure.

Not Included in Your Stay:

• Travel expenses to and from Vélez Rubio (flights, local transportation).
• Meals (except for breakfasts as listed above).
• Personal supplies.
• Health, travel, or liability insurance.
• Visa or legal documentation, if applicable.

How to Get to the REC.ON Residency:

By Car:

By bus:
– Vélez-Rubio bus station 

Local Transfer:
Free pickup and drop-off at the Vélez-Rubio bus station on the day of your arrival and departure, available during daytime hours.

for additional trips or shopping, local taxis are available, or just ask us for transport info on-site.

Rural life: Shopping & trips to town:

Located in the village of Bolaimi, 12 km from Vélez-Rubio (an authentic Andalusian pueblo), the REC.ON Residence offers shopping and transport assistance (especially for residents arriving by public transport):
– Upon arrival: We will help you do your initial grocery shopping in town.
– Every Saturday (11:00 AM): We organize a collective trip to Vélez-Rubio to visit the local market, explore historical sites, and enjoy tapas bars.
– On-site: There is an organic garden with fresh, seasonal vegetables available right at the residence.
– Getting around: For additional trips or shopping, local taxis are available, or just ask us for transport info on-site.
