The Coliving & Coworking Residence welcomes remote workers, digital nomads and all creatives seeking a peaceful and inspiring workspace, a place to connect with nature, and a creative and eco-friendly community.

This coliving & coworking space is part of a rural sustainable development project launched in 2019 in the village of Bolaimi, nestled in the foothills of the Sierra María-Los Vélez Mountains. This place offers the opportunity to live and work peacefully—surrounded by clean air, silence, clear skies, and expansive mountain views.

A stay at REC.ON gives you the opportunity to live and work in close contact with nature, mountain landscapes and true ecology, as well as sustainable art, while also becoming part of an international, open, and creative community.

More than Coliving:

The special value of the co-living space at REC.ON Residence is the presence of an artistic and literary residence on site, which enriches shared life by creating a space for establishing relationships, exchanging ideas and experiences.

In addition REC.ON also offer 5 parking spaces “Green Spot” for Vans and small campers, ideal for digital nomads and those traveling and working remotely.

What’s Included in Your Coliving Stay:

• Accommodation in a single, double or shared room in Coliving apartment

• Warm hospitality & personal attention from hosts Paulina and Bart.
• Homemade breakfasts served 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) with delicious coffee on the patio, a perfect start to the day, including inspiring conversations with other residents and artists.
• Every Saturday excursions to an authentic local market in Vélez-Rubio, a small Andalusian town.
•  Transfer from Vélez-Rubio bus station to the accommodation on the day of arrival and departure.

Local Transfer:
Free pickup and drop-off at the Vélez-Rubio bus station on the day of your arrival and departure, available during daytime hours.

Rural life: Shopping & trips to town:

Located in the village of Bolaimi, 12 km from Vélez-Rubio (an authentic Andalusian pueblo), the REC.ON Residence offers shopping and transport assistance (especially for residents arriving by public transport):
– Upon arrival: We will help you do your initial grocery shopping in town.
– Every Saturday (11:00 AM): We organize a collective trip to Vélez-Rubio to visit the local                 market, explore historical sites, and enjoy tapas bars.
– On-site: There is an organic garden with fresh, seasonal vegetables available right at the                   residence.
– Getting around: For additional trips or shopping, local taxis are available, or just ask us for             transport info on-site.
