Price included:
- Stay at room
- Access to Gallery Room, exhibition and co-working space, shared with other residents)
- Access to the workshop space (arranged individually)

- Accommodation in a 1-bedroom or 2-bedroom
- Access to common areas (equipped kitchen, living room, chillout areas and art installations on the grounds, permaculture garden)

- Visit to the historic city of Velez Rubio, sightseeing, local mercado and cultural attractions
The Artist Residency is part of REC.ON Ecovillage, operating from 2019 in the village of Bolaimi, located in the Sierra María los Vélez mountains in Andalusia. The residency program is aimed at visual artists, writers, researchers, journalists, curators and PhD students who are looking for an inspiring space for creative work surrounded by nature and an open-minded community.
Residencies are invited from February-July and September-December 2025.
The stays last from 4 weeks to 3 months. Application forms are accepted throughout the year.
The residency provides the time and space needed for creative work and writing, allows you to make new contacts, explore the nature of the Andalusian mountain region and the culture of the white towns of Velez Rubio, Velez Blanco with a post-Arab tradition.
