Book nowThe Green Spot is part of the REC.ON Spain Project – a residence with art and design galleries on a mission to recycle and save the cultural heritage of rural Andalusia. Located in the Sierra Maria los Velez mountains in Andalusia. Green Spot is a space with travelers, digital nomads, people struggling with professional burnout and artists in mind.
Our daily routine includes morning meetings over aromatic coffee and fresh baguettes with organic oil. Here you can connect with fellow travelers, digital nomads and artists. If you’re interested, you can hike or take part in creative workshops: restoration, upcycling and permaculture, or just relax. In the evening, with local wine, you can take part in field games, table tennis or gather around a campfire.

Visitors to REC.ON Spain can take part in environmental and artistic projects (upcycling, permaculture, heritage restoration) carried out by the owners, Paulina and Bart – artisanal artists with years of experience creating artwork under the REC.ON brand – and enjoy an environment full of picturesque landscapes, art and sustainable design.
The site offers relaxation in nature, inspiring encounters with fellow travelers, shared breakfasts, evening bonfires, concerts, mountain hikes, and the opportunity to explore the local Velez Rubio community, its cultural events, sights and the cuisine of local bars.
For those who work remotely, coworking space is available in the Gallery Room. The REC.ON community is made up of passionate and creative people, sensitive to nature and the arts, and supportive of the preservation of local Andalusian culture.
